Dental Health Story Time

at Middletown Free Library
Children’s Dental Health of Aston will be at the Middletown Free Library for a special story time presentation! A dental hygienist will read a book or two about basic dental hygiene and have kids brush the teeth of a DRAGON! Kids will also be given prizes for participating.
Registration is not required. Great for ages 7 and under!

Free Yoga and Meditation Classes
10:30 AM – 12:15 PM
at Bartram’s Gardens 5400 Lindbergh Blvd, Philadelphia PA
Join in for free indoor/outdoor yoga and meditation classes in the garden this summer, open to the public free of charge on Fridays thanks to a new partnership with the Family Practice and Counseling Network. Classes are conducted rain or shine on the porch of Bartram’s Garden’s Eastwick Pavilion.
Yoga class will begin promptly at 10:30 and run through 11:30.
Walking meditation will begin promptly at 11:30 and run through 12:15.
Please wear comfortable clothes and show up early enough to allow yourself time to walk through the garden to Eastwick Hill. Feel free to bring your own mat, but if you don’t one we’ll have plenty on hand for you to use! All levels of experience are welcome, including first-timers.

Narberth Creativity Camp Performance

at Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet 29 N Narberth Ave, Narberth PA
Narberth Creativity Camp is a unique collaboration between The Handwork Studio, Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet, and Sweet Mabel Folk Art & Fine Craft Studio for kids ages 8-15. Kids spend time at each studio (all located on the same block) to create costumes, scenery, props and a performance or theatrical reading.
This summer’s performance day is August 24th. We will put on TWO performances of Alice in Wonderland – at 3:00 and at 6:00. Performances are free and open to the public, but space is limited so RSVP is required. (Reservations accepted for 1 performance only per person.)

Butterfly Festival

Our annual Butterfly Festival is back! All are welcome to attend this free event, during which we will be releasing over 200 monarch butterflies! While all of our butterflies have been reserved, we will also have a variety of amazing local vendors, food, and hayrides. Additionally, everything in the store wil be 20% off!
The event will take place in our Gardens at Colonial event space. Releases will occur at 11:30am and 2pm, with educational seminars about the life cycle of the monarch butterfly at 11am and 1:30pm. If you are releasing a butterfly, we encourage you to arrive well before your event as we expect our parking lot to be full.
Parking: The store has a large parking lot, but we anticipate that we will need overflow parking. If you find that the parking lot is full when you arrive, you should park across the stree at Zion Lutheran Church. We will have a shuttle to bring guests from Zion Lutheran to the Butterfly Festival. In an effort to be greener and ease parking, we encourage guests to carpool if possible!

There’s been a lot of scheduling issues, but We got it nailed down now.
Registration starts at 2:30 and is over at 5:00PM. Judging starts at 5:15PM and ends at 7:30PM. There are 2 categories (Custom Harley and Stock Harley) and one Best of Show Award. There is also a 50/50 and we’re looking for local businesses for donation sponsors. Registration Money raised for this Event is being given to The Cerebral Palsy Association Of Delaware County.
Early Registration starts this Wednesday and ends the Wednesday 15th of August.
